The Empress Room...rates one of the best restaurants in Canada, offers ambience of Europe with the flavours of the Island. Our menu features the richness and sophistication of the Pacific Northwest. Your Maitre d' will help you create the perfect marriages of wine and food from our award winning wine list. A truly magical evening complete with the melodious sounds of our harpist. Reservations are required.

Kiplings...named after Rudyard Kipling, a frequent visitor to Victoria, "Kipling’s" features regional cuisine, using as many local Vancouver Island products as possible. An a la carte menu offers traditional favourites like Roasted Lamb Loin sandwich, New York Steak and Seafood Chowder. For travellers from different time zones, there is a traditional all-day breakfast.

The Bengal...cine feast tiyr eyes! Colonial India is recreated as the spices from our famous curry buffet tantalize your appetite. The Bengal Lounge overlooks the Empress Gardens. Come see...and be seen!

Afternoon Tea...a famous tradition since 1908. The hushed elegance of the tea lobby is perfect for fine conversation, while overlooking Victoria's inner harbour. Smart Casual attire - no ripped or faded jeans, short - shorts, tank tops or sleeveless shirts. Reservations are required.

Celebrate 90 years of heritage at The Empress! Take a walk through our history. Our archival display is available for all guests to enjoy and is located on our Lower Lobby level.

Ticket booth located in the South lobby, departures from the front of the hotel, for tours throughout the city.

5-Star Charters
Located in the lobby conservatory, offering salmon fishing, charters and whale watching.
